Slovak Language

The fall language classes have been postponed until further notice due to the lack of proper group meeting facilities, many of which remain temporarily closed.

The WPSCA is offering FREE Beginner Slovak Language Classes this fall, every Tuesday beginning October 12 through November 30, 2021, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

The class is for anyone who wants to learn the basics — reading, writing and speaking — from a pro. Instructor Božena Hilko, a native of Slovakia, is a veteran in teaching the Slovak language to children and adults. She was a high school teacher in Slovakia and has a master’s degree in Foreign Language education from the University of Pittsburgh.

The class location will be announced.

For registration, more information or questions, please contact Joe at or 412-956-6000.
